Mexico's popular destination continues to expand.

Though the destination's beaches and bars are always a major attraction, Cancun is celebrating the opening of a number of new attractions, as well as an expansion of the international airport. Take a look at what's new in Cancun for 2016:

Hyatt's second all-inclusive Cancun property, Hyatt Ziva, opened in January. The beachfront, luxury property is a family-friendly escape with white sand beaches, 3 infinity pools, and suites with balconies and ocean views. While little ones play at the KidZ Club, grownups can relax, lounging in a beach cabana, swimming in the Caribbean Sea, or booking a spa treatment. Guests can dine at 8 restaurants and 3 lounges, or enjoy drinks from the on-site microbrewery and tequila bar. For dessert, kids love the sweet shop's pastries and decadent chocolate fountains.
