Have bike, will travel. That’s cyclist and travel journalist Ryan Van Duzer’s credo. Ryan hosts Travel Channel’s exclusive web series Bike Tour of California Wineries, which chronicles his journey visiting wineries and tasting the local cuisine in Sonoma County and Napa Valley. In addition, Ryan is one of the 4 hosts of Microbrew Madness, which takes you across America in search of the best craft breweries.

You may have seen Ryan on Travel Channel before. In fact, he got his first on-air gig with the network, filming segments for America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions. Ryan’s work as a travel journalist has provided him with an opportunity to shoot, edit and host short segments for TravelChannel.com. Since then, he has worked as a producer on additional ventures and appeared on media outlets including Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Current TV and the Men’s Journal video series Remote & Refined.

Ryan’s love for travel started when he joined the Peace Corps and moved to Honduras. He says it was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. At the end of his 2 years of service, Ryan decided to take the long way home. He biked 4,000 miles from Honduras to Boulder, CO, through hurricanes, dangerous cities and mountains — meeting friendly strangers along the way. He also saw the world from the seat of a bike on other adventurous journeys, including trips from Maine to Key West and from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Cabo, Mexico.

Sit back, enjoy a glass of pinot noir or a mug of India pale ale, and watch Ryan’s adventures in our web series Bike Tour of California Wineries and Microbrew Madness. Get ready to hit the road with Duzer!
