This Fairmont hotel offers an award-winning Inspire Your Energy fitness and wellness program that’s curated to match your interests and needs. Led by an American College of Sports Fitness Certified Personal Trainer, the customized program can help you get moving, or, if you’re already an athlete, give you new challenges to meet. Classes range from floating yoga to aqua fitness, and body definition to meditation and breathing. Later, relax at the hotel’s Willow Stream Spa, where body therapists use kukui nut oil, lemongrass, and other herbs and oils and indulge you in Hawaiian stone massages, wave-motion treatments and more.

Take a spin—a spin class, that is—in the Aston Wakiki's new indoor fitness center. The fourth floor has been turned into a “Gathering Level” where guests can overlook the ocean and socialize while they build endurance, lift weights and run on treadmills.  Stop at the activities desk to book a surf lesson or plan a mile-plus hike to stunning Manoa Falls or Diamond Head crater.

Order a nutritious breakfast at the Lotus Honolulu, and then look over the hotel’s “morning wellness menu,’" a list of healthy activities you can select to jump-start your day. This boutique property offers complimentary outdoor yoga sessions in nearby Kapiolani Park, unlimited use of beach bikes to cruise along the shoreline and Zumba and Tai Chi classes. Stop by the fruit-infused water station in the hotel lobby to stay hydrated. When you’re ready for your next activity or workout, head to the park’s tennis courts, archery range, soccer fields and outdoor exercise facility.

Hard-core fitness fanatics can plan a vacation through Sonki, a company that specializes in fitness-related travel. Packages include luxury accommodations, complete body workouts, and day and nighttime activity choices such as snorkeling and kayaking. You might choose to hike a waterfall, go windsurfing, parasailing, or deep sea fishing. Currently, fitness/travel trips are available to Oahu, Maui and Fiji.
